Many believers around the world were shocked and confused to see a major world leader signing a Peace Deal to bring “eternal peace” to the Middle East. Many minds were cast to Daniel 9 and the prophecy foretelling the antichrist signing a “Firm Covenant” with many. Is this Peace Deal the Covenant Daniel tells of?

Daniel 9 is foundational to understanding the last 7 years of the Age. It details the “Firm Covenant” or peace treaty that will be signed by a world leader who will become the antichrist. It goes through the Abomination of Desolation and the Tribulation period (which is 3 and a half years long). And it begins with instruction on what elements must be in place before all this happens – the People (Israelis), the City (Jerusalem) and the Holy Place (the Temple). Once these 3 key elements are in place according to scripture, the Firm Covenant will be signed and the last Shmitah (7 year period) will begin. 

The 3 key elements are not all in place right now. We are missing the Temple. So the Trump Peace Plan 2025 for the Middle East does not fit the description of the Firm Covenant.
