The conclave in May 2025 and the election of Pope Leo XIV have captured the attention of the entire world, and for good reason. If you follow Bible prophecy, you know that we are in the final generation, with many events unfolding on earth as the Lord positions things for the culmination of this Age. Simply put, the Middle East is undergoing significant changes, the Third Temple will soon be built in Jerusalem, the Antichrist and the False Prophet will be revealed globally, and Jesus is going to rapture His Bride. 

The recent election of the new Pope is certainly significant in this context. In this series, PJ Hanley discusses what the Bible says about the False Prophet and why we believe that the Papal Office will serve as the office of the False Prophet. According to Scripture, this is very clear, yet many believers remain unaware and are falling for the universalist ideology being promoted by the Papal Office. Given Pope Leo XIV’s age and the limited time before the rapture, it is highly likely that this Pope is indeed the False Prophet. 

We must not be shaken or alarmed by this, but encouraged and excited to see all the words of the Biblical prophets come to pass in our day. The Lord gives us the strength needed to persevere in the face of everything going on around us. Furthermore, it means that our redemption through the rapture is coming very soon!
