WWIII & The Coming Revival?

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Conclusion)

war and revival p1

We started this series of posts discussing events in the Middle-East and the connection between war, prophetic fulfillment, and revival. Now as the summer winds down and September looms, we are poised to see a major escalation of all three. On September 13th, the 29 of the Hebrew month Elul, there will be another solar eclipse. This is also the beginning of the Jubilee year of 2015/2016. The last Jubilee was 1967 which was also the last time the Tetrad of Blood Moons appeared on Jewish feasts. And we all know now how significant that year was for the restoration of Israel and the Church. Now something even more significant may be about to happen. As we look at the prophetic events remaining, we have solid evidence of what is on the horizon for Israel and the nations. I want to conclude this series then by examining what may be the next move of restoration for the Body of Christ.

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Part 5)

As I sit down to write this post, the US Secretary of State John Kerry has just concluded an agreement with Iran that makes Neville Chamberlin look like a hardliner. Seeing the Iranian foreign minister, puppet of the Jew hating Khamenei, waving to reporters from the same balcony in Vienna that Adolf Hitler waved from in 1938, should send chills up the spine of any lover of Israel. Nevertheless, as the war in the Middle-East rages, and Israel is surrounded both by terrorists and cowardly politicians, the coming months promise to be very significant indeed. All eyes are on September, as the Shemitah year ends and the Jubilee or year of redemption begins. Something catastrophic seems imminent, but regardless of what it is, the outcome will advance Israel to the next phase of restoration and bring a fresh wave of revival to the church.

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Part 4)

In the last three articles we discussed the history of the parallel restoration of Israel and the church. We saw that in each case where there was an impasse between the plan of God for the Jewish people and the agenda of the nations, either a world war or a Mid-East war ensued. Now here we are again. Israel is being surrounded by radical terrorists and ostracized by the nations. A Middle-East war is already underway and Israel will be drawn into the conflict any day with devastating results. Likewise, the nations of the world plan to squeeze and boycott the only democracy in the Middle-East and force them to accept a Palestinian State by the end of September – coinciding with the last Blood Moon on the Biblical Feast of Tabernacles. Thus there is potential for this to be become a world war as well. With the number of nations already involved many believe we are already there. One thing is clear however; there will be no ceasefire or armistice with ISIS. These radical Islamists will continue their march until they are stopped by force. Nevertheless, when it is all over the Middle-East will be rearranged and the status of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount will have changed. Having drawn this conclusion then with regard to the Middle-East struggle, we will now focus on what God is doing with the church.

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Part 3)

In the last two posts we discussed the parallel restoration of Israel and the church that began in the Twentieth Century. We discovered that each time there was a restoration of God’s promises to Israel in the last days there was also a significant revival and restoration in the church. Another pattern we observed is that when Israel is at an impasse and cannot move forward the result is either a Middle-East war or a major world war. Twenty years ago the Oslo Accords began the scenario that will culminate in the covenant or treaty of Daniel’s Seventieth Week. This treaty will divide Jerusalem and the Temple Mount (Rev 11:2) and allow Israel to worship God in the Holy Place once again. However, three and a half years into this time of Middle-East Peace and Security the Treaty will be broken by the one revealed as the Anti-Christ and the Tribulation period will begin (1Thess 5:3). Since this is the outcome then, we can analyze the current situation and safely predict the path of the perfect storm that is now churning in the Middle-East.

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Part 2)

war and revival p2In the last article we examined the restoration of Israel and the church during the Twentieth Century. We discovered that when revival took place in the body of Christ it was always accompanied by a simultaneous restoration of the nation of Israel. For instance, the Pentecostal Revival happened at the same time as the Zionist Movement and the Latter Rain and Healing Revivals took place at the same time as the Rebirth of the State of Israel. Also in 1967 during the Charismatic Revival and subsequent movements, such as; the Messianic Jewish Movement, Israel one again possessed the Biblical City of Jerusalem in fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy (Luke 21:24).

World War III & The Coming Revival? (Part 1)

It seems that war follows revival and I’m not just referring to the schisms and heresies that so often plague movements in the aftermath of an outpouring. Indeed, both the First and Second Great Awakenings in America were followed by the Revolutionary War and the bloody Civil War between the North and South. Is there possibly a link between these two radically different events? Their proximity to one another is indeed intriguing. Nevertheless, when it comes to the restoration of Israel and how it corresponds to that of the Church in the Twentieth Century, it would seem that War and Revival are not only connected but are two sides of the same coin.
